Building on the foundation and framework laid by the leaders of the two countries to cooperate among countries in the region within the CARICOM framework, Ethiopia and Barbados have begun various initiatives.
As part of this field of cooperation, on the sidelines of the #WHA79 being held in Geneva, an agreement enabling them to work together in the health sector was signed by the health ministers of the two countries, and the agreement mainly contains capacity building and skill transfer, cooperation of professionals, and working together on various health issues between the countries.
Beyond this, it is also believed that it will help to strengthen the people-to-people relations between the two countries.
