Dear ERMP 2025 applicants,
Finally, after a long journey of registration followed by exam and choice revision, we’ve arrived at the most-awaited step of ERMP 2025 - Matching! We would like to congratulate all those matched candidates for being successful in attending a residency training!
The merit-based matching is done using the ERMP matching algorithm and your matching result is displayed here with a table of maximum and minimum grades of matched candidates for each specialty and university.
If you have any enquiries about your matching result, you can make a call to the Ministry’s Hotline at 952 during the appeal week of April 8-15, 2026, during working hours. Appeals in person will be handled upon presenting a receipt for the appeal fee of Birr 300 (refer to ERMP 2025 GL). Requests for a change of place or program will not be accepted.
After taking issues, to be raised during the appeal week, in to consideration, a final list of all deployed candidates will be sent to all medical schools running a residency program, and as per a schedule to be made by each school for a registration (admission), matched candidates will perform the registration process and related issues such as agreement signing (for MOH sponsored ones), etc.
