Licensure requirements for foreign volunteers

I. The New professional License Requirement for Ethiopians studied abroad and coming to serve Requirements for new license:-

  1. All professional documents:-
    1. Authenticated academic documents (certificate , diploma, Transcript, for both undergraduate and post graduate certificate)
  2. Equivalent letter from FDRE education and Training Authority (ETA) https://neta.gov.et/
  3. Health examination certificate (not lasting three months)
  4. Provide a support letter from sponsored institution here in Ethiopia or provide evidence he/she get educated in self-sponsored
  5. Fill the application form by using the following link:- https://hrl.moh.gov.et/
  6. Passport copy or residence ID (Proof of Ethiopian descent )
  7. 100 birr service fee
  8. Current work experience and/ or letter of good standing ( if he/she was working abroad)
  9.  Authenticate professional license from country of origin (if he /she was working abroad)

II. Requirements for foreigners :-

  1. All professional documents
    1. Authenticated Academic documents (certificate, Diploma, Transcript, for both undergraduate and post graduate certificates)
    2. Authenticate professional license from country of origin
    3. Current work experience and/or letter of good standing (more than two years)
    4. Equivalence letter from FDRE education and Training Authority (ETA) https://neta.gov.et/
  2. Health examination certificate
  3. English language proficiency certificate (for applicants from non-English speaking countries)
  4. Fill the application form by using the following link:- https://hrl.moh.gov.et/
  5. Request letter from the requesting facility found in Ethiopia
  6. The organization found in Ethiopia shall attach the legal renewed license of the organization and mentioning scope of professional practice together with the request letter
  7. 100 dollar service fee
