Mr. Habtamu Demissie has been Executive Officer for the Competence & Human Resource Administration of Federal Ministry of Health of Ethiopia since May 2019. Previously he served as the Director for Human Resource development and Administration of Oromia Regional Health bureau and Governing Board Member of Adama Hospital Medical College from March 2017 and was leading the implementation of the Regional health workforces and Adama Hospital Medical College activities as part of the regional health bureau structure and plan. With over 14 years of experience, Mr. Habtamu Demissie is a Public health professional who specialized in Public Health with extensive Experience as executive leader.
He has also successfully worked as a Process Owner of Lume Woreda Health Office, Deputy of Lume Woreda Health Office, Head of Bora Woreda Health Office, Head of Bora Woreda Agriculture Office, Vice Administrator of Bora Woreda, Administrator of Bora Woreda and CEO of Batu General Hospital in Oromia Region and brings a radical change at all level of his leadership career.
Mr. Habtamu Demissie was a PhD candidate in Public Health at the University of South Africa.
