Ethiopia has amended Directive No.803/2020, providing for the prevention and control of COVID 19 in Ethiopia, and effective starting 1 April 2022.
Minister of Health Dr.Liya Tadese has briefed the media on Directive No.882/2022, ‘The Revised Directive to Provide for the Prevention and Control of the COVID 19 Pandemic’.
The preamble to Directive 882/2022 states that the revision was necessitated following lessons from the implementation control measures taken in previous directives, current situation of the pandemic and availability of COVID 19 vaccinations.
