Forum to Review Health Sector Performance, Build Consensus on Priorities

A joint forum of senior officials of the Federal Ministry of Health (MoH), agencies accountable to MoH and regional health bureaus opened today. The Forum will review performance of the sector during the past six months, challenges encountered and experiences gained, while also building consensus on sector priorities for the remainder of the fiscal year.
                                                                                                                                                                                Opening the forum, State Minisgter of Health of Dr.Dereje Dhuguma underlined the need for a broad surveillance of conditions in all conflict-affected areas, and provide the necessary support the affected population. The State Minister said health facilities need to be supplied with the necessary input to restart services discontinued due to the conflict.  

Attending the Forum chaired by Minster of Health Dr.Liya Tadesse are senior officials of MoH, regional health bureaus as well as agencies accountable to MoH.
