Mr. Regasa Bayisa graduated with a bachelor of Pharmacy from University of Gondar in 2008 and studied his second degree in Addis Ababa University and graduated with a Master of Science in health informatics in 2014.
He has been working to strengthen the national pharmacy service and pharmaceutical supply chain in different positions since 2001 in the Federal Ministry of Health. He worked as Auditable pharmaceutical transaction and service focal; pharmacy service team leader; and pharmaceutical and medical equipment management directorate director. In these different roles, he exerted significant efforts and contributions in establishing resilient pharmaceutical supply chain management; improving the proper management of medical device management; good pharmacy practice; and rational medicine use in health facilities.
Since January 2023, He is working as lead executive officer of pharmaceutical and medical equipment lead executive office in the ministry.
